Park Watch operates an electric 3-wheeled cargo vehicle to support our growing network of litter bins along Barton Springs Rd. (Shuttle).

To operate the Shuttle, Park Watch is seeking volunteer Shuttle Drivers who are 18+ years of age with a valid Texas Driver’s License (TDL) and a good driving record.

Because Shuttle Drivers are required to empty full litter bins, they must be able to lift a MINIMUM of fifty pounds (50lbs) over their heads.

The Shuttle can also transport volunteers who wish to serve our community, but don’t have the means to do so or need to access areas which are inconvenient, difficult or impossible to reach by automobile.

Paul Baldwin, City of Austin Transportation and Public Works Department, Mobility Services Division, (512) 974-1438, paul.baldwin@austintexas.gov, has confirmed that Park Watch Inc does NOT require Operating Authority to transport volunteers for free.

Every Park Watch litter bin in our network is a designated volunteer pick-up location (Shuttle Station).

To schedule a ride, volunteers simply select “Request Pick-Up” on the Home page and indicate the location, date and time they wish to be picked up.

There is NO guarantee that the Shuttle will be available. Pick-Ups are handled on a “First Come, First Served” basis.

So long as it’s safe to do so, volunteers are free to board an EMPTY Shuttle at any time or location.

Park Watch provides FREE transportation within our Service Area to ANYONE who volunteers to cleanup our community. No donation required.

Because the Shuttle is equipped with grab bars, Seniors and physically impaired volunteers will find they can enter and exit the vehicle with ease.

By selecting “Request Pick-Up”, Shuttle riders agree to hold Park Watch Inc, its volunteers, employees and officers harmless for any personal injury which may arise from their ride and agree to Binding Arbitration to resolve all disputes.
