Enter the driveway off of Barton Springs Rd and leave your donations inside the glass entry/exit door.
Volunteers will collect them

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, volunteers are standing by to offload your vehicle. Upon arrival, please notify pantry@parkwatch.net and they’ll assist you.

Please notify pantry@parkwatch.net at least twenty four (24) hours prior to drop off so that we may prepare to receive
your donations

Volunteers sort your donations into plastic grocery bags or “Portions” containing a nutritious balance of protein, carbs and snacks.

Volunteers place these Portions into a twenty seven (27) Gallon black plastic tote or “Mobile Pantry”, which can hold up to two hundred and twenty five pounds (225 lbs).

Once two (2) Mobile Pantries are full and ready for delivery, we select a date for a Drop.

On the morning of a Drop, volunteers load these Mobile Pantries onto our Shuttle and offload the Portions at the Drop Site.

We then post information about the Drop to our Instagram accounts, including the number of Portions to be distributed.

Since many recipients don’t have phones, we also post printed flyers around our Service Area.

For their own protection, volunteers remain outside the Gazebo during a Drop.

Once a recipient has exited the Gazebo with their Portion, volunteers approach them; request their permission to conduct a brief survey of their Drop experience; and then post their responses to our Instagram accounts.

Park Watch is seeking volunteers to help operate our Mobile Pantry program.

Mobile Pantry volunteers must be able to lift a MINIMUM of fifty pounds (50lbs) over their heads.
